This is a very must read article. It’s not only historical but this is a data about the future. Anyway with todays technology measles is treatable. The main problem here is overpopulation in the third world countries. Although the vaccine and the cure is available but its accessibility to the affected population is the main obstacles. And this obstacle are war, politics, corrupt officials and access to the area.

Measles is getting widespread at present but still the disease is kept controlled and monitored. Though a lot has been going on in the third world countries.

As after reading this every one might be aware of the Measles,by this disease many people got attacked and died too,To keep out from such disease its far better we keep our environment and surroundings clean.The rural cities are mostly affected by this if proper medicine is given then it can be cured.Thanks a lot for this posting.

Really good analysis of the spreading patterns of Measles. It makes sense now you think about it why this disease is rarely found in villages and small towns.

The scare of H1N1 was such that most people have overlooked many other disease which are epidemic in nature. This article certainly puts an emphasis on it. Also it did provide me information on details I wasn’t much aware of.
